Gateside is a small hobby kennel located in Southern New Hampshire.  We got our start in collies in 2003, with a performance smooth dog named Dandy. After falling in love with the breed, the search was on to find smooths of outstanding temperament, soundness and beauty. Jaye Athy of Mandalay Collies was kind enough to share two lovely litter sisters out of a breeding to Ch Bo-Dandy's Rock Solid ROM. Ch.Mandalay's Rock and Roll all Night, CGC and GCh Mandalay's Rock the Cradle, CGC are the foundation for Gateside.  We believe in a dog that is healthy of mind and body, beautiful to behold and a joy to work with, both inside the ring and out.

I am the District Director of the Collie Club of America for the state of New Hampshire, Editor of the Collie Club of America Newsletter, Secretary for the Collie Club of New Hampshire and member in good standing American Working Collie Club, Collie Club of New England and Collie Health Foundation. I am trained as a Veterinary Technician with an AAS in Veterinary Medicine, having passed the National Veterinary Technician Exam in the State of Indiana. I hold 2 other degrees, a BA and an MA in Literature. In my free time I enjoy riding horses, baking, gardening, sewing and training my beloved collies.
